I am grateful for all that I have today. Grateful for January. Without it how would we ever appreciate spring, summer and fall?  It is a reminder that we have the bad so that we can learn and appreciate the good in life. So.. I have decided that I will focus on being grateful this January.. and will not dwell on the drab. I am  grateful for Pandora radio. I am expanding my music repertoire...and am really liking my Techno station. I am grateful for the plant catalogs that come this time of year. They give me hope that spring is on it's way. I am grateful for family and friends and for my faith. I would not be where I am now without it.

One of my favorite websites is High Country Gardens. They specialize in plants and shrubs that are meant for high elevation deserts like where I live. I like the kind of gardening that focuses on plants that come from this climate. They have amazing varieties and ideas. Check it out sometime.
