Chasing those January blues away

Today I was feeling kinda blue, and missing my yard and the spring... . So I went outside. The sun was shining, which can be a rare thing with the semi-permanent inversion we always have here in wintertime. So I thought I would go out and look at things, even though they were dead. It was freezing cold, but I bundled up, went out, and played fetch with my pooch Cinder. Even in the dead of winter I realized how important it is to get outside and let nature give back and repelenish. It even gives back when everything is hibernating for the winter. So I am sure I got some kind of dose of Vitamin D. I felt great after fifteen minutes of looking  things over, playing tug o war with my dog and picking up a few last things in the yard. I definitely feel better!! It was worth it.
